Sentiv has developed an idea, patent pending,
for a perfume patch that offers perfume contact allergy sufferers the choice of wearing perfume without the worry of skin irritation. And in a world where smelling good is taken as a sign of personal hygiene, the inability to wear perfume can be a serious embarrassment.
The perfume patch is also ideal for those who want to take a precautionary approach to wearing perfume.
Skin allergies are becoming more common in the western world. One of the most common is sensitivity to chemicals in perfume – leading to a potentially life-long skin irritation condition.
About four percent of the Danish population suffers from perfume allergy. The number has doubled in only 10 years. The picture is similar across the western world.
From idea to proof of concept
Sentiv has filed a patent and started developing prototypes of the perfume patch, allowing a proof-of-concept study and regulatory analysis. We are now open for negotiation with progressive and innovative potential commercial partners who will enjoy a “first mover” advantage in this exciting and new business opportunity.
Sentiv’s management focuses on technical and commercial development only, preparing our product concepts for trade sale or licensing to third-party companies active in the medical consumer industry.
We understand the needs of a future partner and our objective is to deliver prototyping, market surveys, price point studies, production recommendations and business case considerations. We want to hand over a "low risk, yet high potential" proposition to the appropriate partner's portfolio.
During the development phase, a number of external experts will ensure that relevant knowledge and experience will become part of the project objectives. This will also keep Sentiv’s organisation lean, leading to fast-paced progress.
